Suppressed Book Review

Suppressed is the second book in The Magic Unveiling series by Sullivan Gray.

BLURB

“Supernaturals exist. And you’re one of them.”

I’ve got football players seeking revenge.

Parents who (literally) just don’t understand.

An impossible crush on a guy who flirts one day and ignores me the next.

And apparently, I’m a supernatural of some kind?

You know … just normal teenage stuff.

My new friends have been keeping secrets, but I have a few of my own. The more truth I uncover, the more I realize that I don’t know myself–or my past–like I thought I did.

As for what comes next?

All I know is that my world is flipping, and I don’t know who I can trust.

I have a choice to make, and when the dust settles, I’m not sure who will still be standing alongside me.

REVIEW

This was a great second book in the Magic Unveiling series with its fasted pace and slow burn romance between Church and Taya with addition of supernatural and magic aspects what is not to love.

Taya is growing more confident within her friendships with Sutton, Church, Darius and Kimani. After the bombshell Church made at the end of Book 1, Suppressed highlights Taya’s need to understand but also her need to trust.

The building romance between Chruch and Taya is fantastic. Their realisation that they have feelings for each other and within one kiss everything changes.

The introduction of the Academy and the hints that all is not what it seems leaves me excited to see what is in store for Taya and how Church and her can be reunited again.
